What is Snap by Groupon?

Snap gives you cash back on everyday grocery purchases. Buy promoted products at any store and snap a photo of your receipt to get cash in your account. Once you earn $20 in cash back, you can request to be paid!

Where can I redeem Snap offers?

At any store! To get your cash back, simply use the ‘Snap Receipt’ feature to upload your receipt. We don’t care where you shop - we just need proof that you purchased one or more promoted products so that we can add cash to your account.

Can I redeem multiple offers on one receipt?

Yes! Once you snap a photo of your receipt, you will be able to select all cash-back offers you've purchased.

Can I redeem each offer more than once?

Sometimes! We try to have as few restrictions as possible on our offers, so you can often multiply your cash-back by purchasing several units of the promoted product. Each offer’s redemption limit is clearly noted on its details page.

How long does it take for my receipt to be approved?

We strive to approve all receipts within 48 hours. However, due to the number of receipts being uploaded, we are currently taking longer to process receipts. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to contact customer support with any concerns.

How do I get paid?

When you’ve earned $20 or more in cash back, you can request payment. Go to 'My Account' page and select 'Cash Out'.

When should I use Snap?

Browse our cash-back offers before you go shopping. You can easily save offers you like to your Snap shopping list, and add other items that you want to remember to buy. Buy promoted products at any store, and then simply upload your receipt within two (2) days of purchase to get cash back. It’s that simple!

What devices can I use Snap on?

Snap can be used on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer – just download our app for iOS or Android, or visit us online at snap.groupon.com.

How do I upload a long receipt?

When uploading long receipts, take multiple photos of your receipt to ensure you capture all data - top to bottom.

What do I do if the receipt photo is blurry?

If you can't read the receipt photo, then neither can we. Simply hit the 'redo' button and snap the photo again.

How do I share Snap with friends?

Go to the 'Refer A Friend' section of the app and invite your friends. You’ll get paid $1.00 for each friend who joins Snap through your Referral Link and redeems their first eligible offer! Click here for all the terms that apply.

Are there any fees for using Snap?

Snap is absolutely free to use. However, if you do not redeem any offers for twelve (12) consecutive months, Snap may begin charging a monthly Account Maintenance Fee, which will decrease your cash balance over time. Under no circumstances will such fees cause you to owe money to Snap; the lowest your cash balance can go is $0.00.

When do offers expire?

Offers expire either when (1) the maximum number of redemptions has been reached or (2) the product program has concluded. Expired offers will either be hidden or clearly marked as unavailable.

When will my payment arrive?

Typically, payments are distributed within two (2) weeks of request but may take up to sixty (60) days.

Does saving an offer to my shopping list ensure that I will be able to redeem it?

No. We hope that you'll use the Snap shopping list to keep track of everything you need to buy, but adding an offer to the list does not currently prevent the offer from selling out or expiring before you have the chance to redeem it.

How do I reset my password?

If you know your current password, you can change it on the My Account page. If you’ve forgotten your password, look for the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page.

Where is Snap available?

Currently, Snap is available in the United States and Canada.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No, each person can only have one account.

Can I use my Groupon account to log into Snap?

No. Snap accounts are currently separate from Groupon accounts.
